ABOUT ME
From a very young age, I have always been fascinated by anything to do with the military, so I guess it was no surprise that at the age of 19, I left Malta to join the British Army. In the four and a half years that followed, I served as an infantryman in the 2nd Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment on a number of postings, including two operational tours in Northern Ireland and Iraq.

Although I have since returned to civilian life, I still retain a keen interest in the subject, spending any free time reading military history books. In the meantime, I now work as a tourist guide with Colour My Travel, where I get the chance to share with visitors the incredible history of Malta, including its rich military heritage.

Combat Archives gives me the opportunity to practice yet another recent interest: that of writing about the stuff that I am passionate about. Here I share materials that I have researched or written over the years, on any military subjects related to Malta and elsewhere, with people of similar interests. I hope you will enjoy reading my blog.
